Respect Policies

FA Respect Programme

We all have a duty to adhere to the FA RESPECT programme Codes of Conduct within Grassroots Football. This programme is intended for adults just as much as the players.

Parents should encourage not criticise, never use offensive or abusive language from the spectator area at matches, and never threaten players, other spectators, coaches or match officials. Remember children play for FUN.

Players should have respect for their team mates, the other team, their manager/coach and match officials by playing fairly and by the rules.

Every player who is registered with Royston Town Youth FC has it set in the terms and conditions of their online registration, that the player and all spectators attending with the player agree to adhere to the FA Respect Code of Conduct - any adult/player found to be in breach of the codes of conduct may be asked to remove their child/leave Royston Town Youth FC.

All information on the FA Respect Programme can be found directly on the Hertfordshire FA website here.
